Moraine Park Technical College

Moraine Park Technical College provides state mandated and specialized training to our district fire departments and businesses. Courses range from General Fire Safety to Fire Officer II; including Fire Extinguisher Safety, Entry Level Firefighter, Firefighter II, Driver/Operator Pumper, Driver/Operator Aerial, Fire Inspector and Hazardous Materials Operations. Within our district we have various live-burn facilities and props used to train our future firefighters. They include a mobile live-burn trailer, several live-burn, multi-level “container” units, a live-burn car prop, 3-story splashboards, forcible entry props and other real-life equipment. This equipment allows our students to practice and gain confidence in real-life scenarios.
