Wisconsin Technical College System awards funds to technical colleges under these major grant areas:

  • Adult Education and Family Literacy Act (AEFL)arrow

    AEFL funds are used to expand educational opportunities for adults and encourage the establishment of programs of adult education which will assist educationally disadvantaged adults.

  • Application Formsarrow

    Find copies of the forms needed to apply for state and federal funds through the Wisconsin Technical College System.  These forms provide instructions and additional information such as how to report grant activities and accomplishments, funding levels and System Office contact persons, etc.

  • General Purpose Revenue (GPR)arrow

    Provide competitive and targeted grants for Wisconsin Technical Colleges. Includes Work-Based Learning Grants for Tribal Colleges to support work-based learning projects at the tribal land grant colleges of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College and the College of Menominee Nation.

  • Workforce Advancement Training (WAT)arrow

    Workforce Advancement Training grants for general and small businesses promote increased investment in the development of incumbent workers and expand technical college training services to help businesses and industry meet their training needs. Grants are awarded to upgrade the skills and productivity of employees of established, for-profit businesses and industries operating in Wisconsin, with he broader objective of supporting regional workforce ad economic development efforts.
