    The Wisconsin Technical College System supports accountability throughout the agencies operations.  Some of these core operations include the Quality Review Process (QRP), Adult Basic Education and Perkins Strengthening Careers in Technical Education. Data is used in these core operations as well as others to drive continuous improvement efforts through data informed decision making, peer benchmarking, and goal setting.

    Adult Basic Education helps adults build academic and/or English language skills, achieve a high school credential, successfully attain and retain employment, successfully transition to postsecondary educational and occupational training, become more informed and productive participants in community and civic life, and become self-directed, lifelong learners.

  • Career Prep & Dual Enrollmentarrow

    The goal of the State's Career Prep program is to promote and support high school to college transitions for career and technical education students.  Career Prep initiatives should be enhancing a high school student's technical and academic skills and providing opportunities for transition to postsecondary education or into the workforce.

  • Faculty Quality Assurance System (FQAS)arrow

    The Faculty Quality Assurance System (FQAS), governed by Wisconsin Administrative Rule, is an effort to insure quality education in the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) through a program of continuous participation in activities designed to contribute to the professional growth of technical college faculty. FQAS establishes standards for minimum requirements for technical college instructors as well as addressing many aspects of the faculty experience including: recruitment, credentialing, onboarding, competency development, mentoring and evaluation.
