DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Fall 2025 General Education Deans System-Called Meeting—a collaborative space for Gen Ed leaders across the WTCS to connect\, reflect\, and strategize.\n\n\nThis two-day hybrid gathering will include system and legislative updates\, meaningful conversations around shared challenges and successes\, and opportunities to dig deeper into hot-button issues like adult education\, access and inclusion\, funding shifts\, and pre-major pathways. Whether you’re a long-time Gen Ed leader or new to the role\, the agenda is designed to support connection\, learning\, and forward movement.\n\n\n \n\n\nCome ready to share\, listen\, and leave with ideas you can take back to your campus. We’re excited to host you at Fox Valley Technical College—and to keep building this community together.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat to Bring:\n\n\nTo help you get the most out of our time together\, we encourage you to bring:\n\n\n\nA reusable water bottle – Coffee will be available\, but other beverages may be limited.\n\n\nA device (laptop or tablet) – We’ll be referencing shared digital documents and tools throughout the meeting.\n\n\nAny materials or updates you’d like to share – Especially if you’re planning to facilitate or contribute during breakout conversations.\n\n\nAn open mind and your perspective – Many of our conversations will draw from lived experiences\, recent challenges\, and collective wisdom from across the system.\n\n\n\nIf you’d like to bring printed copies of materials to share\, feel free. Digital sharing is always welcome too.
