SUMMARY:Virtual Common Ground Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Wisconsin Technical College System is hosting the 2022 Common Ground Conference on November 3rd and 4th. This conference will be free and virtual\, and it will consist of several dozen online sessions of collaborative interest to adult education and ELL instructors\, workforce/WIOA staff\, faculty/staff working with justice-involved and re-entry students\, community based literacy organization staff\, etc. \nSessions will cover a wide range of topics including understanding and working with mental health issues\, basics of working together under WIOA and improving referral rates\, sessions designed for local literacy organizations\, and more. There will be numerous sessions designed to help students pass the GED and HSED requirements\, transition into high-demand occupational training\, and achieve their educational goals. There will also be sessions related to English Language Learning programming\, addressing the needs of refugees\, supporting local literacy programs\, and more. \nSession information will be added to the Common Ground Conference webpage soon.  We look forward to seeing you on November 3rd & 4th!
