Reciprocity Certification

Reciprocal certification shall be issued upon request to Wisconsin residents (or those in a current Wisconsin application/hiring process) certified by entities whose certifications are accredited by International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) and/or the National Board on Fire Service Professional Qualifications (Pro Board). The Wisconsin Fire Service Education Office (FSEO) will only grant reciprocity for the levels of certification that the FSEO is accredited for.  For more information regarding Reciprocity, please see Policy 7 (Reciprocal Certification) of the WTCS FSEO Policy and Procedures Manual.

To request Reciprocity, please complete the Wisconsin Fire Service Education (FSEO) Reciprocity Certification Application form, attach copies of the accredited certification(s) and email to fireservice@wtcsystem.edu.

For proper function, the FSEO Reciprocity Certification Application Form must first be downloaded and saved on your local device before using Adobe Reader to open and complete the form.
